Located in Northwest Arkansas, Bella Vista Village offers stunning natural beauty in the Ozark Mountains. Bella Vista's 36,000 acres offers golf, tennis, fishing, swimming, and more. With eight 18-hole championship courses, one nine-hole course, and six pro shops, you are never more than a few minutes from a tee.
You can enjoy boating and fishing on eight lakes. These lakes are open to all Bella Vista owners and guests so you don't have to worry about crowds. The lakes are stocked in order to provide the best in bass, crappie, and bream fishing. The Yacht Club and marina are located on the largest body of water, Loch Lomond.
There are many interesting local sites that can be experienced in a single day. Eureka Springs offers a unique shopping and dining experience.
The downtown shopping area is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While in Eureka Springs don't forget to take in the Great Passion Play, an outdoor drama based on the life of Christ.
On the way to Eureka Springs you can stop by and visit, Pea Ridge National Military Park, site of the largest Civil War battle West of the Mississippi. The 4,300 acre battlefield preserves the site of the March 1862 battle that saved Missouri for the Union. Just 30 minutes away is the city of Fayetteville. There you will find the University of Arkansas, Walton Arts Center, and the Northwest Arkansas Mall, home to over 110 stores such as Dillard's, Penney's, and Sears.
With the recent opening of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) in 1998, air service is only 20 minutes away. Service is provided by American, Delta, Continental, Northwest, and USAir. Direct connections are available to to major cities such as Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, New York, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Memphis, and more.
